About Me
I started teaching English when I was very young, but, almost on a dare, I got a degree in Statistics and Economics, then moved from Italy to the US to work as a researcher in a prestigious university. During the following 25 years I worked for several well-known international companies in Marketing, but in every company I worked for I was always the English language reference for all of my colleagues in my department.
Throughout the years my passion for teaching English continued to follow me, which led me to get several certifications to teach. Then, at the end of 2021 I left the corporate world to go back to my very first passion: teaching English.
My corporate experience
During my corporate years I developed very effective communication and presentation skills, as well as strong proofreading abilities, as my job required communicating in English on a daily basis with colleagues, suppliers and customers, as well as proofreading different kinds of documents (like emails, presentations, brochures, website and advertising texts, Requests for Quotations, etc.) for me and other departments in the company and giving presentations to different stakeholders, including the CEO and the upper management.

Certifications
I have always had a strong passion for foreign languages and for teaching, which led me to start tutoring students in English from a very young age and eventually get several certifications for teaching English as a Foreign language - including a specialized certificate to teach Business English, two certifications to teach preparation for the TOEFL and IELTS tests and a specific certification to teach English pronunciation - and gain additional teaching experience in some well-known English academies.
